General Assembly of Civil Protection 2025 in Rome

Anticipate changes and strengthen responses; this is the goal of the General Assembly of Civil Protection to be held in Rome from April 4 to 6, 2025, a moment of discussion among institutions, the scientific community, components and operational structures to discuss together the future of the National Service.

The three-day event will take place at Confindustria’s headquarters and will be opened by Minister for Civil Protection and Sea Policies, Nello Musumeci, alongside the Head of Department, Fabio Ciciliano.

During the event, six thematic panels will cover several key topics in civil protection, such as the importance of prevention, the future of organized volunteering, sector regulations, the management of national and international emergencies, the role of local territories, and the application of new technologies in civil protection activities.

Finally, the General Assembly will provide a valuable opportunity to enhance collaboration among international, national, and local institutions. It aims to establish a solid model that will serve as the foundation for the future of civil protection, transforming it into an integrated system of competencies designed to address emerging challenges.
