La 51esima edizione dei Saturn Awards ha parlato la lingua Na’vi, dato che Avatar: La via dell’acqua di James Cameron ha portato a casa il maggior numero di premi, incluso quello di miglior film di genere dell’anno, di fronte al favorito Oppenheimer di Christopher Nolan.
I due film arrivavano alla serata di consegna dei premi con il maggior numero di nomination, ben 12 per Avatar: La via dell’acqua (due in più rispetto ad Avatar del 2009) e 11 per Oppenheimer, ma alla fine a spuntarla è stato il kolossal fantascientifico di James Cameron, che ha portato a casa quattro statuette, per i migliori effetti speciali, per la miglior regia, per la miglior sceneggiatura e per il miglior film di fantascienza, mentre Oppenheimer ha vinto miglior thriller, miglior attrice non protagonista (Emily Blunt) e miglior montaggio.
