La canzone è dedicata a chi, andando a dormire, avverte di non aver reso giustizia a se stesso, provando rabbia per essersi nascosto o per non aver parlato. Rappresenta una presa di coscienza delle proprie volontà al di là della paura e un atto di coraggio nel dire, finalmente, ciò che si desidera, anche se a volte si potrebbe pensare che sia ormai troppo tardi.
